Why People always think when speaking another language We are talking about them? I found that silly! They have to learn and to respect our Own language some people get even offended! Spanish Its my Primary language and they should accepet me for who Iam and what I speak

The truth is revealed in this video. Some other factors are : 1. Laziness - some people don't want to make an effort. 2. Lack of talent, low IQ, lack of musicality. ( no offense, but some people are simply not going to learn anything). 3. Learning anything is just hard work - too hard for some. 4. In most cases, people will learn only as much as they really need. Number 4 is the most important factor. 5. You need to spend 10 000 hours on any skill to become skillful (20 000 hours if it's Japanese).

You give me Hope! Ive been in this country for exactly 30 yrs of my life! I feel I dont speak Fluently ! I work In the health care field,I barely watch Tv In english and Iam surrounder by Native speakinf people! But I spend 8 hours asking same questions 5 days Per week! How Can I improve My Accent? Its very annoying and fustrated for me! I feel I should Be mastering the language!

Thank you Hannah! excellent content as always! I recently came across an App called Deep Dictionary and I'd like to have your opinion on it. It's quite unique in that it shows pictures together with the text definitions which I sometimes find useful. But I'm not sure whether it's good for a beginner like me, because sometimes I find myself only looking at the pictures, not the actual definitions. I feel I should stick with the more traditional definitions which is good for me in the long run? Would love to know what you think.

I have been studying English in a different way that I was used to in school, and I feel a lot of improvement in all the English skills. I know that I'm not fluent and also made a lot of grammar mistakes, but it's part of it. I try to learn and be exposed to the lenguage every single day, and not as a hobbie, as a daylife activity.

I think the problem for non-native people is the way we pronounce a word that we have never heard before. In Spanish, words are pronounced as they are written, which is not the same in English. Also, when we learn a word with incorrect pronunciation, it is incredibly difficult to erase the error from our minds.
